Job Summary:
IA Colorado - The Islamic School of Colorado is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Liaison Officer to serve as the primary point of contact between our online part-time school and prospective students, their families, and parents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing information, support, and guidance throughout the enrollment process, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication:
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, families, and parents.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and social media promptly and professionally.
Provide detailed information about the school’s programs, admissions process, and other relevant details.
Support and Guidance:
Guide prospective students and their families through the enrollment process, including application submission and documentation.
Assist with resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during the admissions process.
Offer support to new students and their families to ensure a smooth transition into the school.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, families, and parents.
Follow up with prospective students and families to provide additional information and support as needed.
Organize and participate in virtual open houses, orientation sessions, and other events to engage with prospective students and families.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospective students and families.
Prepare and distribute informational materials, such as brochures and newsletters.
Collaborate with other school staff to ensure a seamless admissions process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Fluency in both Arabic and English.
Experience in an educational setting or admissions role is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Part-time position with flexible hours.
Pay rate is $20 to $35 per hour.
Remote work environment.
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required for virtual events.
